Family physicians have shown remarkable contributions in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Family physicians are the primary effectors of primary health care, working alongside other professionals and authorities to ensure that appropriate steps are taken promptly to reduce risks, as well as the challenges of proper referral, triage, and effective maintenance of a healthcare system.
